Finding good information — or even knowing where to start — can take more energy than it should. This page collects a handful of organisations and resources I find genuinely useful. It isn't exhaustive, and I update it from time to time.

Autism & ADHD

  • National Autistic Society Wide-ranging information on autism across the lifespan, including late diagnosis, identity and daily life.
  • ADHD UK UK-focused, with strong coverage of adult ADHD, lived experience and the diagnosis journey.
  • Autistica Research-led charity with accessible content on autistic wellbeing and identity.
  • ACAMH For those who want to go deeper: a research-focused resource on neurodevelopmental conditions and mental health.

For parents of neurodivergent children

  • Contact Practical support for families of disabled and neurodivergent children, including help navigating education and NHS systems.
  • Ambitious about Autism Particularly strong on education rights, school transitions and advocacy.
  • ADHD Foundation Family-focused resources across age groups, with support for parents as well as children.

High performance & burnout

Relationship abuse and sexual trauma

  • Rape Crisis England & Wales Support for survivors of sexual violence at any point in their lives, including a helpline and local centre finder.
  • The Survivors Trust A network of specialist UK services for survivors of rape, sexual abuse and trauma.
  • Women's Aid Resources and support for women affected by domestic abuse, including safety planning.
